John Scorsone

United States Air Force Account Executive

John Scorsone is a USAF retired Colonel with four master’s degrees in business and acquisition related fields. His undergraduate was from Tulane University in Electrical Engineering. John is also a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA)-certified Level III Program Manager; a certified PMP from Project Management Institute; and a distinguished graduate of the Department of Defense Senior Acquisition Service School, formerly known as the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at National Defense University in Washington, DC.

While on active duty, John served, a Program Manager, as a Logistics Engineer, a Financial Manager, and a USAF Mobility Pilot with over 3000 flying hours in the KC-135, T-37, and T-38. As a USAF senior leader, John commanded an operational support squadron at Tinker AFB’s Air Logistics Center and a flying squadron in combat. He served as Vice Commander of Grand Forks AFB, and was the Senior Director for all Air Mobility Command’s Test and Evaluation Programs. During his career, he also led teams that delivered acquisition programs for the KC-135, B-1B, and C-5M.

After transition to civilian employment, John served as a business development director of a major research university, led programs with several small business and was the PM for an USAF Contract at Camber Corp. John is a volunteer at the University of Central Florida Business Incubator Program and for the Rollins College-based ATHENA Program to mentor women owned small businesses.
