Systems Engineering & Training Business Unit Manager
Mr. Hernandez serves as the principal delivery manager for Camber’s Systems Engineering & Training Business Unit, a $90 million/year global contracts portfolio with more than 400 members across a variety of federal government clients.
Mr. Hernandez began his career at Stanley Associates as a Data Quality Engineer on the Army War Reserves Deployment System (AWRDS) program. Throughout his 16 year tenure at Stanley, he held various worldwide leadership positions in support of the AWRDS and the US Army Prepositioned Stock (APS) programs, to include Program Manager for Middle East Operations on Camp Arifjan, Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF\OEF); AWRDS Product Manager leading software development efforts in Alexandria, VA; and Site Operations Manager overseeing operations across eight strategic Combat Equipment Battalions throughout Europe for the Combat Equipment Group-Europe (CEG-E) in Eygelshoven, The Netherlands. In 2010, he was promoted to the position of Vice President in charge of Stanley’s Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) Army initiatives.
After CGI acquired Stanley in August 2010, Mr. Hernandez led CGI’s $67.5 million/year global Department of Defense (DoD) Logistics Sector with more than 350 international members assigned to multiple US Army and Marine Corps programs.
Mr. Hernandez served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Virginia Army National Guard (29th ID) while attending George Mason University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He received the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service, obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in July 2006, and has received executive business education from the Columbia University Business School.
