Amy Bleken

Software and Network Engineering Business Unit Manager

Amy Bleken is an action-oriented and results-driven business operations and information technology executive with over 20 years of experience within the DoD and Federal Civilian markets. Ms. Bleken began her career as a US Army Logistical Supply Specialist. During her U.S Army Service, she used her GI Bill benefits to attend community colleges to advance her knowledge and technical skills. After separating from the Army, Amy joined Stanley as a systems analyst on the Army War Reserve Deployment System (AWRDS) contract with responsibility for AWRDS software components.

With a track record of flawless contract execution and a skill for developing new business, Ms. Bleken was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility within Stanley. Before Stanley was acquired by CGI in 2010, she was Vice-President of the Mission Systems Group with operational and management responsibility for design, implementation, and maintenance of IT solutions for Federal and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. At CGI, she became Senior Vice-President for the Defense Agency Programs (DAP) Business Unit with $227M in annual revenue and a staff of more than 900 employees deployed around the United States and overseas. After leaving CGI, Ms. Bleken joined Buchanan and Edwards (B&E) as Vice President, Business Development and was later promoted to Chief Executive Officer. While at B&E, she led the strategic plan that transformed the company from the 8(a) small business program into a mid-sized company.

Ms. Bleken has earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science from Strayer University. She has also attended executive-level business training at Harvard Business School and the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
